Rocklands is situated in the quiet residential area of Porthill, within easy reach of a wide variety of local shops and services, with local transport links to towns around the Potteries almost on the doorstep.
We have 43 self-contained, 1-bedroom apartments set in landscaped gardens, surrounded by mature trees with a comfortable patio area to sit out and relax when the weather allows. Facilities include a large modern communal kitchen, lounge and dining area, on-site laundry, mobility scooter room, a lift to all floors and resident parking spaces. Not forgetting our lovely Hairdresser who visits every month.
Rocklands is a warm, friendly and welcoming place and as Development Manager, it’s my role to help residents to feel safe and supported, by ensuring that their homes and their home environment continue to meet the high standards set by Alpha. Porthill is close to my heart, having been born and brought up just around the corner, and where generations of my family delivered services for local people for many years. It continues to be a vibrant and welcoming place, and those special attributes can immediately be seen when you step through the doors at Rocklands and meet the people who live here.

Inside, you can be sure of a warm Rocklands welcome. Activities are on offer most weekdays, including coffee afternoons, craft activities, games, dominoes and Bingo. With seasonal events also on the menu, organised by our Residents Group.
Lunches are served frequently in the Lounge dining room, with an additional Tea-Time offer. So, if you want to join in and make new friends, or just sit, relax and unwind, there is plenty of room for everyone.
Rocklands is supported every weekday by the Development Manager, and our friendly and helpful Housekeepers. Together, we ensure that residents have security and peace of mind in knowing that help is on hand if they need it.
