The Social Tenant Access to Information Requirements (STAIRs) for social housing in England is now live. Alpha is required to publish certain information relating to the management of our residents' homes. From 1 April 2027, tenants will also have the right to request information about their tenancy and the management of social housing that is not included in the Publication Scheme. We will share some more detail closer to the date, including how to ask for information and what types of information you can request.

Our STAIRs Publication Scheme should help residents find information about the management of their homes, helping residents understand how decisions are made, how services are delivered and how we're performing.

Alpha is committed to being open and transparent, and to make it easier for our residents to access information about the services we provide.

If a resident believes information that should be included in our Publication Scheme is not currently available, please contact us at governanceteam@alpha-living.co.uk.

We will review your request and assess whether the information falls within the scope of the Publication Scheme requirements. We will provide a response and advise you of the outcome within 30 days of receiving your request.

Governance and Decision Making

Alpha owns nearly 1000 homes. We are a smaller housing association and specialise in providing sheltered and extra care accommodation for people aged 55 years and above.

How our residents help shape our services

Listening to our residents helps us understand what it is like to live in our homes. It also helps us learn what matters to you and where we can improve. There are different ways to get involved and provide your feedback, visit our Resident Engagement page to find out more.

We are in the process of co-producing our new Resident Engagement Strategy with the help of our residents. Once approved by Board, we will link the policy here.

Complaints Process

You can find out more about our complaints policy and process, how we comply with the Housing Ombudsman's Complaints Handling Code on our Compliments, Complains and Feedback page.
