Welcome to Barnfield!

Barnfield is set in beautiful, tree filled-grounds. There is a large, newly refurbished lounge with a modern TV and music system. The development makes you feel at home as soon as you walk in and there are friendly colleagues available to help in any way they can.

Barnfield 22

Barnfield is situated in its own grounds and has a mixture of 46 one-bedroom and studio flats, along with 4 larger units situated in a Georgian property on site. It provides a wide range of facilities, including a communal lounge, a garden and outside seating area, an on-site laundry, parking bays and a guest room for visitors.

We have a range of regular activities to encourage residents to socialise, build friendships and enjoy community life. These include our Thursday coffee mornings, Bingo, dominoes, darts and the Bonus Ball. We also arrange for the Access Bus to take residents to Morrisons every Tuesday afternoon for shopping, helping them maintain their independence and stay connected with the local community.

We encourage family and friends to visit, as we recognise how important these relationships are to our residents' happiness and wellbeing. Barnfield also has a guest room available for overnight stays, at a cost of £10 per night for 1 person, or £15 per night for 2 people.

“As a Development Manager at Barnfield, I love being part of a team that is committed to making a real difference in the lives of our residents. Working with honesty, compassion and a positive attitude is at the heart of everything we do. I value working alongside dedicated colleagues who support one another and share the same commitment to delivering an outstanding service.

At Barnfield, we strive to create a friendly, welcoming, and inclusive community where residents feel valued, respected and supported to maintain their independence. Through our regular activities, shopping trips, and encouragement of visits from family and friends, we aim to provide opportunities for residents to socialise, maintain meaningful relationships and enjoy a fulfilling life.

What I love most about working at Barnfield is seeing how these activities and personal connections bring people together, reduce feelings of isolation and create a genuine sense of belonging. Working together as a team, we aim to ensure that every resident feels safe, supported and at home in our community.”
