Our chief executive since 2014, Graeme has worked in a variety of senior and leadership positions including senior regulator with the Regulator of Social Housing and Lead Housing Inspector with the Audit Commission.
He has already overseen many changes including securing new private funding, grant funding and moving Alpha to a position where it is able to grow.
Graeme’s career has taken in housing management, resident involvement, governance and research. He has an MBA and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Housing. Graeme is passionate about the difference Alpha’s approach can make to the lives of older people. When he is not at Alpha, Graeme enjoys running marathons and adding to his collection of really weird vinyl records.
Senior Management Team
Simon is involved in all aspects of service delivery at Alpha, but most enjoys keeping residents involved in shaping their future accommodation and services.
A surveyor by profession, he was involved in refurbishing housing in Liverpool, specialising in providing facilities for disabled people, before becoming Property Services Manager for Warrington Borough Council.
He later joined Halton Housing Trust, where he delivered an £85m development programme 14 months early with a saving of £6.3m.
Simon cares deeply about our developments and residents, but when he is away from the office can be found on the fairways of his local golf course.
Alison is a real team leader at Alpha. With 30 years’ worth of experience as a finance professional, she brings tremendous talent and knowledge.
She joined Alpha in May 2011 during a time of significant growth and created finance and payroll teams, brought in processes and procedures and secured re-financing of the company loans.Alison now also takes responsibility for corporate services and maintenance of core professional service relationships including banking, audit, ICT, pensions and legal, along with company secretarial matters.
She is very passionate about her work at Alpha and gives her all for the betterment of the organisation and the residents it serves.
Alison travels the world watching Formula 1 but equally likes nothing more than spending quality time chilling out with her two kittens, appropriately named after her two favourite F1 drivers, Jenson and Lewis.
Linda has over 40 years of experience in the housing environment and at Alpha she ensures that residents have their voices heard.
She constantly looks to maintain the high standards in our developments.
Linda has worked with homeless people in the past, and managed a hostel for young people and families.
Away from the office, Linda relaxes by taking Hector the dog for walks and dotes on her two beautiful granddaughters.
