A great place to grow older

Live independently in your own self-contained apartment in our Poppyfields extra-care development.

Your new home is centred around its own community where, just a short walk from your door, you’ll be able to have a bite to eat in the restaurant, have a trim in the hair salon or relax in the comfortable lounge area.

An internal courtyard garden and shared space offers the chance to get outdoors whatever the time of year, and will be the focal point for activities and events as our community grows.

What's on offer

We want you to feel safe, secure and happy in your new home. For that reason, access to the apartments from the communal hub is controlled so that only residents, invited guests and staff can get to these parts of the building. There are two lifts serving all three floors.

The communal hub includes a reception area, restaurant, hair and beauty salon, residents’ lounge, shared activities space and courtyard garden. The building, which offers WiFi access throughout, also has a guest room, laundry and internal and external refuse rooms.

There are two stores for mobility scooters with up to 24 spaces and parking for up to 53 cars, with several electric car charging points.

There’s everything you should need to live independently with that added level of support.
